Support for the people kids depend on most

Parenting a neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or spirited child can be both rewarding and deeply exhausting. You may have been told to “just be consistent,” “set firmer limits,” or “try this strategy.” Maybe you've read the books, scrolled the parenting accounts, and experimented with countless tips and scripts, but still feel like nothing "works." This is where parent support sessions can help reinforce the effort and energy you're already putting in.

What parent support sessions look like

These sessions aren’t lectures or cookie-cutter programs. They’re a space for you to slow down, make sense of what’s happening for you and your child, and feel more grounded in how you respond.

Together, we’ll:

  • Look beneath the surface of behaviour to understand what’s driving it.

  • Explore strategies that work with your child’s nervous system, not against it.

  • Help you navigate your own stress and self-doubt, so you can feel steadier in tough moments.

  • Create space for honesty, because parenting is hard, and there's no judgment here.

Some sessions are about practical problem-solving (like mornings before school, mealtime battles, or bedtime routines). Others zoom out to shift patterns, strengthen connection, and build your confidence as a parent.

Why start here?

Children don’t grow in isolation. They grow in relationship. When parents feel supported, kids benefit, and often do so more quickly and deeply than from individual therapy alone. Starting with parent work can lead to

  • Calmer interactions and fewer power struggles

  • Stronger connection between you and your child

  • More confidence in navigating the hard moments

  • A home environment that helps your child feel safe, seen, and supported

This isn’t about blame. It’s about equipping you—the person your child depends on most—with the clarity, tools, and compassion you need to lead them forward.

Who this is for

  • Parents of neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or spirited kids

  • Families facing big emotions, challenging behaviours, or tricky transitions

  • Parents who feel like “we’ve tried everything” and are looking for an approach that’s both compassionate and practical

Next Step:
If you’re ready for support that’s collaborative, non-judgmental, and grounded in both expertise and lived experience, I’d love to connect with you.
